I understand that circumstances surrounding the nuclear family have changed over the years. No longer is it the Mom and Dad with 2.5 kids and the dog in the split level home. Now it is two people who are trying to co-parent. Equally trying to raise children separately and together. I know from experience that this is no easy task.
I am a single mother of 2 wonderful young children. I am divorced, and have been on my own with them for 2 years. I am in the unfortunate situation of no co-parenting, no communication and no help. So, why another parenting site? Well, I have done the research, bought the books, listened to the tapes and used the tools, but I thought how nice it would be to have it ALL IN ONE PLACE! So, myparentingportal.com was born!
