Kids and Money

How often do you hear from your children....I want that toy, I need new clothes, I want that video game, Everyone else has one. It is exhausting the "I Want" list that a child can dream up. And, the hardest part is that you want to give your children everything, but as we know, money doesn't grow on trees, and kids are apt to spend money like it does grows on trees.

Being a single parent, I think about this often with my own kids. After all, they want everything, and it gets to be expensive! I decided to put together these pages to help parents teach their children about how to handle money responsibly. I will give you tips and hints on how to teach them about money, as well as some great tools that you, as a parent, can use to also teach the value of a dollar. I hope this lesson will help you put your children on the road to handling money responsibly.
